15 years ago our country was attacked.  We don’t have a special workout to commemorate 9/11.   Instead, just take a moment to reflect on the tragedy and lives that were lost that day.  During the attack, 2996 people were killed. 246 victims were on the planes, 2606 victims were in the World Trade Center and surrounding areas. 125 people died at the Pentagon.  At the World Trade Center, 71 law enforcement officers died and 343 firefighters. 55 military personnel died at the Pentagon. More than 90 countries lost citizens in the attacks.

As of today, it has been determined that many more rescue workers who responded to the scene in the days and months after the attacks have since died and will continue because of the effects.
