handstand work – Thu 6.22.17

Skill: Handstand practice.  Spend 10-15 min working any aspect of the movement you’d like.  Holds, freestanding, walks, on a box, handstand hold with leg drop, deficit, rings, races…..

* Hopefully you created or begin this week to create a plan for progression in any one of these movements.  Talk to your coach if you need assistance.

Conditioning: 3 rounds for time of:
– 30 Kettlebell Swings – russian (Performance: more than 53/35#, Fitness: 53/35#, Health: AHAP)*
– 20 Double Unders (Health: attempts count)
– Run 400 meters

* One way I like to go heavier than the prescribed KB weight, is to take two DBs or KBs of the same weight.  This forces me to set up a little wider than usual and hits the movement in a different way.
