Oly Total – Tue 9.19.17
We’ve been practicing the Oly lifts lately getting ready for the Oly Total. The Oly Total (Olypmic-style Weightlifting Total) is completed similar to the CrossFit Total from last week.
All of our coaches train in the Oly lifts for various reasons; Leighna competes in them, Buck uses them in his Highland Games competitions, and Phil studies and practices them non-stop to be better/stronger at CrossFit and at life! Strength: “Olympic-style Weightlifting Total”
3 Attempts for a 1 rep max of each:
– Clean & Jerk
After a good warm up for each exercise, you will have three attempts at a max single for each of the three lifts. Your score will be the heaviest single rep of each lift added together. You must complete the lifts in the order listed, and in the time provided for class.
So take your rest periods between attempts, but move quickly also!
* Snatch and Clean & Jerk can be Power, Full Squat, Split, whatever you need to do to get the most weight up!

Conditioning (if time allows): Complete 2-4 reps:
– 500m Row Time Trial
Rest as needed between reps (3-5 minutes generally)
