Thursday 3.03.16 – strong core work
Being able to do many sit ups and crunches doesn’t necessarily translate as strong core work. Being able to do L-Sit, L-Pull Ups, or lift your legs as high as possible during a rope climb for maximum height on each step (notice I didn’t say pull) does. So play with those movements today and see how strong your core really is!
Skill: L-sits and L-Hangs and Rope Climbs
Conditioning: Complete the following for time:
– 400m run
– 40 Push Balls (yep I named it that again)
– 20 Abmat Sit Ups
– 20 Push Balls (same weight)
– 40 Abmat Sit-ups
– 400m Run
Reminder: The CrossFit Open is scheduled for tomorrow! If you plan on doing it another day, you need to bring a judge with you to count. The coaches have coaching to do and can’t guarantee they will be able to count for you!
