Conditioning: Come in a find out!
From time to time we remind you to check in to The Compound Strength and Conditioning on Facebook when you complete a workout. We do this in partnership with Sweat Angels, a non-profit organization that chooses a different charity each month. For every check in, we at the Compound donate to the given charity.
This September, we are partnering with The Rescue Bank to help feed our furry friends. Every check-in provides 4 bowls of food for a rescue animal. The Rescue Bank operates on a “food bank” model by collecting and redistributing donated pet food, supplies and donations to qualified animal welfare groups across america. Their efforts allow rescue organizations to focus on services such as spay/neuter, vet services, facility management, and adoption events, etc.
When you check in on Facebook, make sure to add #care4animals to your posts. It’s a great way to remind your friends of why you’re checking in!
You can follow all the charities Sweat Angels has worked with at their Wall of Giving HERE
Episode 20 of Built to Last Fitness came out this week. Ryan and Craig find some 12 year old training logs of Craig’s and discuss some of the things they want to put back into their training.
