Bio

Monica spent her childhood playing sports. From a young age she played soccer and softball. Through middle school and high school she played volleyball and softball and was an active gym goer. Through college she kept in shape by attending the gym and being active in intramural sports. After graduating college with a degree in Biology and having 2 beautiful boys she found long distance running. She completed her first marathon in 2010 and quickly became a Full and Half Marathon Coach with Fleet Feet Vacaville so she could share her passion for health, fitness and running success with the Vacaville community. Monica spent 7 years as a running coach, 4 years of that as the Director of Training for Fleet Feet Vacaville, leaving as a RRCA Certified Running Coach in 2018 she is diverse in mobility and running gate analysis. Starting in 2016 Monica took on TRX as a form of cross training and in 2018 jump into the CrossFit community. It was a perfect fit! The combination of cardio and strength movements was a perfect marriage for Monica's ambitious goals. It was only a matter of time before her desire to coach others would cross over into the CrossFit gym. Monica is currently a TRX Instructor, Mobility Instructor and Running Form Coach. Monica also holds a career at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine as a Research Associate, is a mother of two teen boys and a loving wife. Monica's fitness accomplishments include a 3:58 Marathon, 1:51 Half Marathon, 2 Ultra Marathons, completing 23 Full Marathons, over 70 Half Marathons/Trail Runs and completing 3 CrossFit competitions from June 2018 to January 2019. "I simply want to see people succeed as their best self. If I can help them do that, then I'm in the right place."
