Tuesday 2.23.16 – horizontal press
This photo of the floor press has some good pointers, mainly the elbows in and the forearms vertical to the floor. Don’t, however, cross the ankles. Lay them straight side by side, or bend them.
Skill: Bench or Floor Press 5-5-5-5-5
Conditioning: 21-15-9 reps for time of:
– Deadlifts (Performance: 275/185#, Fitness: 225/155#, Health: 135/95#)
– Burpees, jumping over the barbell (two-foot jump and lands each rep)
CROSSFIT OPEN is this week! We will be programming The Open workout for the gym each Friday. This way, everyone with scheduling issues can still participate in The Open, whether they sign up or not! We’ll get the entire gym working out together. Of course, if anyone still wants to get together for a Friday Night Throwdown we can schedule that as times permit!
